Body
\n<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>The body, according to the height of the tower, is made up of several polygonal sections, made out of bent and longitudinally welded<\/span><\/span><\/span> steel sheets.<\/span><\/span><\/span> The different sections<\/span><\/span><\/span> are fitted on site using overlapping joints based on the “slip on joint” method.<\/span><\/span><\/span> The body welding process is according to UNI EN ISO 15609 and CNR UNI standards<\/span><\/span><\/span> 10011. It should be noted that the welding process provides, unless otherwise specified by the Customer,<\/span><\/span><\/span> a penetration of 100% of the slip sections and at least 80% throughout the remaining length.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Headlight platform<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>The platform is installed, by means of a bolted joint, at the top of the body.<\/span><\/span><\/span> The platform is also equipped with a walking anti-slip surface.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Access to the platform is ensured by means of a special passage.<\/span><\/span><\/span> All the geometric and functional characteristics of the structure are in agreement with the current accident prevention regulations.<\/span><\/span><\/span> The projectors are mounted on crossbars bolted to the structure<\/span><\/span><\/span> of the platform.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Resting platform<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>The resting platform, also built in steel, has technical and constructive characteristics<\/span><\/span><\/span> similar to those of the headlight platform.<\/span><\/span><\/span> The connection to the body is obtained by a connection to a special welded element.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

materials<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>The following materials are used for the different structural elements of the tower:<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– body: steel S355 JR (Fe 510 B) UNI EN 10025;<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– platforms and ladders:<\/span><\/span><\/span> steel S235 JR (Fe 360 \u200b\u200bB) UNI EN 10025;<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– bolts: class 8.8 hot-dip galvanized steel.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Surface protections
\n<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>All steel components are protected against surface corrosion by galvanizing in a<\/span><\/span><\/span> hot molten zinc bath in compliance with the UNI EN 40-2 standard.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Installation method<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/a> The mast is normally imbedded into the concrete plinth.<\/span><\/span><\/span> For special applications it is possible to use anchor bolts.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
